Whether you want to spend the night in a traditional tribal treehouse, or eat your lunch off of banana leaves, the proposed Altaghat resort site offers numerous opportunities for a comprehensive, eco-friendly resort with an exciting cultural program. The Trustees of the Altaghat Project propose to build double occupancy rooms in cottages based on traditional south Indian designs. The resort would have two restaurants, one within a main or common area, the other overlooking the jungle. The women's shelter would be part and parcel of the resort, with their accommodations based on the same double occupancy design. Whether visitors are hiking in the jungle, or taking part in the rich cultural programs offered by the resort, there will be something for everyone.
If you would like to help make the Altaghat Project a reality, by donations, or otherwise investing, or if you are interested in visiting the proposed site and helping to get the project off the ground, please contact us. Help preserve India's endangered wildlife, or help with reforestation projects! This is a wonderful way to experience a different side of India!
